Desi Sanchez is NYC-born and bred TV host, visual artist, and musician; with credits in broadcasting, film, print, and more.

Currently the host of iO TV’s “Optimum Insider,” and a fill-in anchor on E! News Now, most people recognize Desi from her MTV VJ work as the "Face of MTV2,” connecting viewers across the country with the hottest artists & celebs on location.

Desi is also the new co-host of NYC Life’s “Profiles” celebrity interview show, and as the five-year host of FOX & MyNetwork’s syndicated TV program, LatiNation, she can still be seen on SiTV reruns weekly. In addition, Desi's hosting talents have been featured on Syfy Channel’s In the Qube, Music Choice's Demanded, and on TMZ.com; and she also MC’s live national & community events as well. Her acting credits include the award-winning indie drama JailCity, and Off-Broadway play What Life May Bring.

In other media, Desi's utilizes her voiceover talents in comedy skits on several local FM stations, in imaging pieces for clients such Sirius XM Radio, and she also voices a sexy new character in an upcoming video game for Xbox360, due for release first quarter 2012. A pianist since childhood and an electric guitarist for the past decade, Desi released a single in 2006, after which she was named one of the 15 Hottest Latinas in Music by MAXIM Español, opposite Christina Aguilera.
